Hey everyone,
Some of you may remember this thread from nearly two years ago
http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=173856&highlight=mackie&page=2

I was encouraged to get another cat and well I just couldn't do it.
I came home Friday night from work to everyone waiting for me and as soon as I came through the doors all I heard was "Can we keep him, can we keep him?".

My son was playing in the yard and had been watching the new litter of a stray. He heard crying and ran to find a kitten stuck under a fence. He went to get help lifting the fence off him which is great because a storm blew in that night.

$350 dollars later (gulp) Little Stripes was given his official name, dewormed, given antibiotics and conjunctivis meds...well now we have a new family member.

These are great, Liz. #2 is especially cool but I did wish the girls eyes were open. She seems a little disconnected. At any rate, congrats on the new family member! thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Congratulations on the new addition! You can become a cat/children specialist!

On the photos, #1 & #2 bother me because of the focus, which should bring attention to the main subject. In 1, only the floor is focused. In 2, the syringe is focused, whereas I want the mouth to be so.

#3 is spot on with both the kitten, the hands, and the child making a nice triangle.

Gotta love that last one, Liz. More than anything, I applaud you for rescuing the little fellow.

How adorable. Good for you for rescuing the little guy.

While I certainly enjoy #3, I think #2 is a really unique take on an image like that. The focus on the syringe is appropriate, to me. Excellent set, Liz, and I hope your new addition is liking his new home.
