    I also like #1--I think it's a beautiful shot with the contrasting pink/green colors, placement of the spider, fading off focus........

    #1 for me... That shade of red/pink contrasted with the green spider is - well - eye catching to say the least.

    I am struck by how different these two shots are. Delicate comes to mind with the first one and heavy metal or armor with the 2nd. I like #2 because it is an unexpected setting for this insect. But #1 is lovely.
