loss of detail on upload

I'm converting from tiff in LR to 91% jpg - same as always, using JF's export plugin. Same as the last thousand pics I've uploaded and I have never seen this happen.

Take a look at the thumb and then the sm and med versions. What happened to the back of her head?? The thumb version looks just like the original, but the rest are a mess.

I noticed a loss of detail in several other pics also, but none as severe. I've never seen variation like this when uploading to SM and I've changed nothing on my end. Is anyone else having issues?

With the one link being a thumbnail and the originals not being square, the size of the thumbnail is brought down to 100x100 and will require cropping if they are not already square.

Cropping isn't the issue. I replaced the square thumb with an original sized thumb. Are you not seeing a loos of detail and color in her hair, on the back of her head, when comparing the thumb to the sm and med sizes? I'm starting to think it's my monitor..

It's my monitor.. Looks fine on my LCD at work. Can anyone recommend a good 24" LED that won't cost me a fortune?
