Dave, I tried to creep on these images a bit and see your EXIF info, but it's been stripped. So let me make a few comments and ask a few questions...
1. The images are EXCELLENT. Backgrounds are clean, action is great, sharp, etc. But at your level, you don't need me to tell you this.
2. Could you share publicly or privately how you made the shots? Positioning, camera, lens, other pertinent info
3. I am hoping to do some motorsport work this year myself. Hopefully, they will look similar to this, but I am trying to find out from someone shooting at this level, what they are doing and how they are covering it.
Excellent images! On #2 I would crop a little off the right side, and #3 I would crop some from the bottom. Other than that, great job! I wish we had these type of races close by, as they look like a lot of fun to shoot, let alone watch!

Thank you all for the comments - I am flattered. I hope this weekend I can work on the crops and finish the series. Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin is a wonderful track for photography. Wide open and very fan friendly. The track is 7 miles in length so having a "pit" bike is almost a necessity to get around to all the corners. A monopod and some shooting between tress is all that is needed to get some very good action shots. Just get out there and have fun - the good shots will come naturally as long as your having fun. If your ever out this way, I will be happy to be your "tour guide". Going to Black Hawk track on Wednesday for a practice day (my son is a rider in the 600 cc class)
Thanks again for your comments - they are appreciated!
