Ahhhh...she looks so regal indeed! But still, a sweetheart. I like the softness of this and the high key like effect. bless her heart.

If I remember right she was looking into the morning sun when I took this photo. Glad you liked it. Thank you for commenting.

Yes, regal, Mary. Unusual study. Do you have a shot without the collar etc?

Sorry ... no shot without the collar. I know there is a 'no collar' thing when taking photos of dogs, etc. But for me the collar is important. It's their only article of wear that shows they belong to someone. If I take that collar off she'll wait for it to be put on again. Please don't misunderstand me ... I've tried to take it off and photograph her, but I just can't. It's like it wouldn't be her. She's had that collar since she was almost a year old. I did change it out for a fancy looking one, but put this one back on.

I know .. it's all sentiment on my part. I'll try again to photograph her without a collar. I know it's probably the best thing to do :D

Yes, Mary, understand. I'm too much of a "free spirit", I guess!

That's a wonderful shot of a valued family member. You can be equally proud of Tyler and yourself. You are, indeed, blessed.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

No collar would give the perception of being a 'free spirit' :D
