Out into the Wyre Forest with Phil, I found myself a little too close to a colony of Wood Ants. Fascinating creatures but there must have been thousands of them. I did end up with 6 or 7 on the outside of my jeans. They were promptly brushed off. Attempting to isolate one was proving impossible so well, I err moved back a little, took a shot and cropped :D

Pearl Bordered Fritillary.

Your standard bumble bee

Longhorn Beetle (Natural light because the flash was too harsh on the beetle). Not often I get a natural light shot because I suck at them :)
