I responded to an ad about needing an editorial type photographer. This was the response:
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your interest in our project. This is a new project for us. One that hasn't been done in the Atlanta area.
We will speaking with business owners in Decatur who have been nominated as one of Decatur's Best. They could be restaurants, pubs, retail shops, music venues or businesses who offer services. Once nominated we want to schedule a photographer to go out and take 25-30 nice shots of the business and the owner preferrably with patrons (if appropriate).
These photos will then be featured own two web properties: facebook and a private site. You can view the Facebook site here: https://www.facebook.com/DecatursBest. The other site is being developed.
This project will be TFP with a twist. We will be selling these business marketing products. Upon a completed sale the selected photographer will receive a commission as compensation for the work. All photos will have attribution with a link to your website as well.
As a final inducement for your participation, we will also offer a free iphone app. The best business card going at the moment.
