torags, you nailed very good pictures in Havana and Havana 2.
Love the content and the B/W renditions.
What made me sad was to acknowledge that my Havana had become a third world City.
(Not referring to the touristic places, of course.)
Please, post more of them.
Thanks,
Carlos.
Like the shots showing the different few of the city there.
Lighting is tough on your shots with the subjects in shadow. Needs work as too much detail is lost in their faces (do you have a fill slider or shadow slider?)

Sliders nah.
Black faces in shadows lose detail. I spot metered off her face (hence the blown background); any more metering points and she would be darker; to lighten the image would blow the background even more.
I suppose I could use spot burning/dodging (if I knew how ... )
Thanks for looking in and the interest, much appreciated.

I had a good experience in Havana; I found the people to be very civilized and proud despite their humble surroundings
AND.... the gals have the best butts per capita of any place I have been (my son says Brazil has more - I'll have to visit)...
Agree 100%.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND.... They know how to work it....
