The Iron Maidens

and now for something a little different...

I went to see "The Iron Maidens" perform at a club in SF on June 13. The Maidens are an all-female tribute band to the greatest metal band on the planet (in my opinion), Iron Maiden. :thumb These gals are each extremely talented musicians, and also happen to be quite easy on the eyes.

The lighting conditions in this jazz club were quite weak with very infrequent white spot lights, so I converted many images to B&W to avoid the all-green or all-red gel lights that dominated the stage. Also, had to make due with an f4 lens, way high ISO, and slow shutters...so focus was often sacrificed.
