This is my first try at a sunset with my new D50. I'm still learning the settings. I managed to get this shot in between making dinner and doing laundry. I wish the houses werent across the street, but I can't do anything about them. What do you all think? Should I crop more from the right hand side, right next to the tall house?

Yes we have some awesome sunsets in AZ, I definitely hate it when there is an amazing one and I cant get out to the desert fast enought to shoot it. Thats the thing with your photo, the houses are just in the way and theres no way to get rid of them. Try going to an open field somewhere and shooting, im sure you could get some amazing ones with your new D50. But other then the houses, the sunset is beautiful.

I'm not diggin' this picture a whole lot. Nice sky, but there's nothing real flashy about the silhouettes. Doesn't really grab my attention. ne_nau.gif Jamie.
