Search within Events not working

Hi Smuggers,

I currently use 'Events' to present galleries to clients.

My setup; I have an Event that has a collection of galleries. The client is directed to the Event URL and they used to be able to go into any particular gallery then use the search box to perform a keyword search which would return all images containing the keywords within that particular gallery, within their event.

For some reason this has stopped working and one of my clients recently brough this to my attention.

Is anyone else using their Event galleries in this manner and how do you enable search for clients within these particular galleries?

From what we can tell, this is due to a bug on our end that seems to affect the within-gallery searching. We've alerted our engineers, and we're investigating as we speak. Our apologies for the trouble!

Also note, that in order for keyword searching to work, the galleries must be public (not passworded or unlisted), and the Hello Smuggers gallery setting must be set to yes. Though even with those settings, there are still issues with the search function at the moment. Just wanted to put that in there to give a more complete answer.

What is the status of this bug? I would like my clients to be able search an event and add their favorite to their favorites page but no search is available and if I add one there is no way to add them to favorites. There is currently no way that I can find to use any search function and still be able to add selected photos to a client's favorite page. Any solutions out there?
