Chafer on my finger

I popped out into the garden to see if there was anything about. Looked up and there was what I can only describe as a swarm of chafers flying over the gardens. Many of them flew at lower altitude through the garden but didn't stick around apart from this one that decided to take a breather.

I quickly captured it, took it inside for a shot or two and then let it back outside to join its squadron (which it promptly did).

A little soft on the eye. Think that's partly down to the right antennae possibly.

Hehe, cheers Brian. Pity you weren't up in the North. I think they were on a mission. Operation Find Female or something given the amount of them that were in the air
