Hey everybody,

I had open-heart surgery a few weeks ago, and my Aunt Zelma sent me flowers while I was still in the hospital. As soon as I got home I knew I had to take a photo of the arrangement to preserve her thoughtfulness.

The statistics of the shot:

Model - Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT
ExposureTime - 1/200 seconds
FNumber - 5.00
ExposureProgram - Aperture priority
ISOSpeedRatings - 100
ExposureBiasValue - 1.00
MeteringMode - Partial
Flash - Flash fired, compulsory flash mode
FocalLength - 50 mm

Sigma 18-50mm DC f2.8 EX
Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash ETTL mode, bounced off the ceiling but with a reflector card to provide some fill.

Hand held.

    Thanks Fred.

I start work again next week, 1/2 days and weight restrictions, but I'm looking forward to it.

    Thanks Dee,

It'll be good to be amongst people again. Stuck at home gets old really quickly.

Hi Ziggy I do wish you all the best, and hope that you are recovering well, isn't it just wonderful what the Medical Profession can do for people these days that in the past they would have never survived ........

Aunt Zelma had a plan she figured she'd send you those flowers....plant the thought of wow aint they pretty.......now if I just had my camera...... she set your next photographic project for you without you even realizing it.
