Just getting back into photography after a 20 year hiatus. Bought a compact, will upgrade to a micro 4/3 or CSC or mirrorless or.. well, something that fits in a coat pocket that's better than my compact. But not for a while yet, still lots to learn.

So in the spirit of learning, and at the suggestion of regular poster on these forums, linked below (click on the pics) are three galleries of street shots in Manchester, England.

I'm throwing myself to the wolves: Tell me what's bad. Tell me where I need to improve. Tell me how! My friends are all too nice, so here's your chance: be nasty ;)

I've started entering the DGrin challenges and I'm regularly challenging for last place (and succeeded, on the "Don't bug me" one) so I'm under no illusions here. Don't be afraid of causing offence, but do suggest how I can get better.

thanks :)
