#105 High Key - Wedding Rings

This is more difficult than I thought!
I put an antique wedding ring set on an off-white satin pillowcase, had a few nice daylight spectrum lights, and went to town... but I kept needing MORE LIGHT, as whenever I'd try to get the background nice and light I'd lose all the detail in the ring.

I'm a little disappointed in what I've been able to achieve so far, and felt like the strong vignette was the only way to really make them feel high key. Any advice for a re-shoot?

Move the rings away from the background and light them separately?

I actually quite like #1... but the background pattern bothers me. If it were me, I'd reshoot that one using a plain white background without any pattern.
