Good shot BTW- looks similar to the UK common orb weaver- Araneus diadematus.
Just as an aside most of the macro shooters here post in the "Other Cool Shots" section.

Its def an orb. From my experience..any orb that cant be identified is called a common orb. I see them all the time in books & on the net with the name common orb.
