Formatting Caption in Slideshow

Has anything new happened relative to formatting and placement of captions in SmugMugs slide show. Would like to be able to change the Font and Color as well as place the Caption where desired for the particular application. Right now I am embedding a slide show in a website for a client but the overlay of the captions on the pictures is both ugly and often covers too much of the picture. In a best case scenario I would be able to place the captions above, below, left, or right of the picture and control the font. I have fiddled a little with the size parameters with a slight improvement but no real knowledge of what I did or why it worked. The site is a work in progress in a temporary location but if you would like to view it to understand the problem it can be found here. The single example where I changed the size parameters is under "Kitchen". It created other problems relative to spacing and picture size.

This is a work in progress.

Hi and welcome to Dgrin! wave.gif

The captions in the slideshow are provided as they are and cannot be customized at this point. Sorry. You could only turn off captions for the show off > slideshow embed via the "configure options" in the show off screen.

You could go to the SmugMug feedback page and add a suggestion. That way other users can vote and comment on your suggestion, and it helps us to keep track of all suggestions made. Thanks!
