How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

God Bless you Harry on Veterans Day

We never lost a fight and we never left a man behind

I hate going back but I'm glad I was there

These are the only statements I care to remember.

    Beautiful Harry!
The bravrey, the sacrifices...There are no words, just the feeling of humble gratefulness, pride, and tremendous respect.

    Wonderful Shots, Harry!

ginger (I never went to war, never considered it, but I benefit as my husband is a Viet Nam veteran. I benefit from the medical care. We could not make it without his retirement pension. I have great respect for the people who actually are veterans.) When I went to DC, my favorite memorial was the Korean one, not that being a veteran is about the art or anything.

    wonderful photos!

The pride of veterans, it is a indescribable. I have seen an older gentleman faint at a Memorial Day service, but refuse to leave, then get up and march out with his fellow veterans. Admiration is too small a word to use for those who "serve" d.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.
