G'day,

I asked my 5yo to push the button on this shot. Focus not perfect, but am keen for your thoughts (not about how old and tired I look, but on the technical/emotional aspects:D)

    I like the lighting, and think it's a strongly emotional image. A little more DOF might have got the end of your nose in focus.

    That point (pardon the pun) bothered me too. Initially I didn't notice it, but my nose being out of focus is a distraction - maybe a shorter nose would help:D

    Could be, but it will be cheaper for you to adjust focus and done deal.:photo

    A sharply focused nose doesn't matter much to me. You've captured nice emotion and your eyes are well-lit and interesting (which is much more important to me than your nose).

    They eyes and expression alone have it for me. You smile a lot, scowl in the sun and are full of deep thought provoking endeavors. I like it!
