I took this shot last time I visited Cuba. I don't recall the name of the church but it is in La Habana Vieja... Old Havana. I was actually told not to take any photos but not before I was able to capture this shot.
Funny this is it was a 2 sec exposure and I can't for the life of me remember how I stabilized the camera because I do recall not having my tripod with me. I think a propped it on my backpack but I can't be sure. :scratch

"I'm not yelling. I'm Cuban. That's how we talk."

Yeah, I have to chalk this one up to mostly luck. I can't really tell you what I metered on. It was one of those "Oh, this looks interesting" kind of moments. I metered, set up the exposure in manual mode, put the camera on floor and triggered the shot with a 2 sec timer. Then the guy came over and told me not to take any more photos. Honestly, I didn't even bother to chimp the shot. Had no idea I got a good shot until I back Stateside and downloaded it to my puter!

I was there, tried to get into the cigar factory (in back of the Capital Building). It was closed for renovation
I wish I would have known
