Hi y'all,

My first love in photography was B/W shooting. Unfortunately the wildlife captures I've gotten in Florida haven't really worked as B/W images. :rolleyes

However the photo ops provided in Africa are a different story. :ivar

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Harry,
Until I saw your B&Ws, I thought that color did a better job of separating focal subjects from backgrounds. But your animals standout so well they look like they are in 3-D. Was your Fuji film shot somehow processed with HDR to get that standout combination of sky, trees, grass, cheetahs, etc.?

You think that I, in my non-native English, can find words the describe the awesomeness of your work?

    ...and again, I'm impressed thumb.gif

Thanks John glad you liked them. As for the Fuji capture it was a Nik production. I applied the Detail Extractor and Tonal Contrast filters from Nik's Color Efex Pro and then converted to B&W with Nik's Silver Efex Pro.

    Harry,

Very nice images and processing. I enjoyed looking at these.

I seem to prefer the even numbered images. headscratch.gif
