    You want a GPS?

I've got a Street Pilot III that I'm happy with. Garmin also has a new model
out that's getting rave reviews. The 2610.

What features are you looking for?

It is customary in an accessories forum to ask a question or make a statement pertaining to a subject or device mate. Are you after advice on a GPS or have you simply lent on the keyboard & mucked up a post ?

    Garmin PDA/GPS
44950387-M.jpgI have been using this for two years ++ and am very happy with it. It is listed as number 1 or 2 depending on who rated it. I lie the easy to use, clear voice command, fast correction of directions after a wrong turn, and accuracy in the eta, distance, and mph. Also it has great storage capacity of your waypoints that you may visit again. I have also used it when hiking in the mountains and deep woods of northern Maine huntig moose with my camera. It is prety easy to get lost if you lack a good compass and map or a GPS unit. This toy helped me on a couple of trip into the forest.

This is a moose known as "Gordon" shot at about 6 feet and located thanks to the GPS WAYPOINT stored from two days prior when we crossed paths after dark. At least too dark for a good shot. (Baxter State Forest, Maine).
