I just spent 13 days traversing the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. The beauty of these places is hard to comprehend. If the PP work doesn't kill me, I'll be posting pictures of the scenes that most mesmerized me. Most of the shots will probably be posted over in the Landscape forum.

You're right. That entire area is fascinating....almost unbelievably so.

I don't know if you've ever been there, Gary, but that territory up there is your kind of place. No telling what good stuff you could generate.

    Take care,

    Tom

Wow .. this is just beautiful. The water looks so inviting after the hots days we've been having. John and I hope to get that way someday soon.

Every day, at least once, I'd sit on a rock or log along a river and stick my feet in the water. Talk about COLD. I had chamber-of-commerce days the whole time I was there. Unseasonably warm during the day.....high 70's, low 80's....but darn cold at night. Crystal clear skies, often having beautiful clouds. Just unimaginably pretty....almost overwhelming.

    Take care,

    Tom

I'm really envious of this shot, Tom. Haven't been nor have I seen such a wonderful stream during my 5 year stay in the US. That would definitely be in my bucket list, too! awesome shot, my friend! thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Gorgeous shot Tom! I spent several minutes searching the waters for some trout, as this looks like a great place for trout fly fishing!

Thanks for the visit. I put off getting out there too long. I hope a trip to Yellowstone will be in your future.

    Hi Gary,

It's great to hear from you.

Folks fly fishing were all over the Park. In fact, right around the bend from where I was standing when I took this shot, I saw 4 guys...over about a 200 to 300 yard stretch of the river...really going at it.
