I spent a beautiful (& hot) Rhode Island morning at the Temple to Music in Roger Williams Park. The Cabot Community Tour was hosting an event and my son's girlfriend performed with the State Ballet. How often do you worry about too much light when photographing ballet dancers!! They performed at 11:45AM in bright sunlight. There was a beautiful backdrop and the performance was very enjoyable. Here are a few of my favorites:

1) "Nights in White Satin" - contemporary music with classic ballet

2)

3)

4) Tour de Ballet - Ballet Ireland

5) Not the best form, but they had to wear "broken" pointe shoes because of the surface they were dancing on
