So I have been absent from DGRIN for quite some time... I figure it is about time to start sharing again... Here are a few images of recording artist Robbie Walden. I used a very simple 2 light set in an attempt to get a more dramatic feel... Let me know what you think

Very nice, like 3 & 4 alot.

Nice images, I like the dramatic feel. My nit is in #3 the light is also highlighting a well developed muscle, in the lower left of the frame, a bit too much drawing my eye to it constantly and making it seem weird. Darkening the bright spot on that muscle would fix that IMHO.
What is he doing in #1? Does he play an instrument or is he a vocal artist? Is my old age showing by having to ask?
I especially like the under saturated colors used here.

Thank you... and no, not showing your age at all.. he is an up and coming country singer/guitar player from Tacoma, Wa. In the 1st image I just wanted him looking down.. he is really not doing anything but I liked the look there.

I do slightly agree that the bright spot mentioned may distract a little but it doesn't bother me too too much... I might take some time and do a little burn there

Really like the tone of these shots. 3 & 4 are my favorites too (though on #3 I'd prefer it not to be so slanted). I can't tell what's happening in #1 and #2 feels kind of like a pin-up, which to me makes no sense for a big ol' country dude.
