Full disclosure - I took a class taught by BD a while back, and have been hooked on street photography since.

Here's a few shots from my travels around the Boston/Cambridge area - hope you all like 'em. As always comments/criticisms welcome.

Thanks!

Peter

#3 & 4 look real good to me

#2 might have been better served by shooting a little more left for full bicycle (lots of room near the standpipe)

    Nice work

Welcome again, Peter. I really like number 4. Everything in that image comes together, and we're drawn to the woman, and then keep exploring her world. Great shot.
The first one I'd crop as a square; the space to the left is more wasted than open. Okay, I really like the second one two. The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking Martin Parr. The colors are wonderful, and there's something very odd about the scene - in a good way. Number three? You needed her in focus. ;-)

    BD and rags,

Thanks for taking the time to look - I'll try a square crop on the first shot and see what I can do with it. The third one I like for the emotion, but you're right, the focus ain't great.
