I recently had a business trip to Durango, Colorado and took along my Canon 7D and kit. All of these were taken with a Canon 10-22MM @ 10MM and about f/8, my first real outing with the 10-22....

C&C welcome

Thank you,
Doug

Very nice work, Doug. Each picture has a solid strong point.thumb.gif

Thanks, everyone. I've heard a few C&C such as oversaturated and they seem a little underexposed. Let me know if you all see that? I used my MacBook Air to process these RAW images and wonder if I see things brighter then most...dunno, just a hunch.ne_nau.gif

They do look a tad underexposed (maybe not #4), and the saturation to me looks like you just used a polarizer.

That said, I like the set very much, with 2 and 4 being my favorites.

Really nice shots, Doug. These do present a bit dark. The trick would be to bring up the exposure a bit without blowing out those nice clouds. #4 is my favorite. thumb.gif

Thanks everyone for the C&C - how interesting...more of you have said #4 and that is the general consensus among family/friends too...and also my least favorite. Huh.

They appear a bit dark, but otherwise fine shots. #3 is my favorite.

They do look a bit underexposed. When using a polariser you must know that a polarizer's effect varies with angle, results can appear uneven when using a wide angle lens. Don't go wider than 28mm (35mm film) to avoid this issue.
