These are excellent. Just how close WERE you to the teeth of the bear and the talons of the eagle? Nice and sharp! (literally and figuratively speaking).

Bears look friendly but the prospect that they ripping you apart is always there. Only with 600mm + TC2x I would give it a try.

Ceci, I got within 10-15 feet of two teenagers, but I was hanging out an open door in a van, and felt pretty safe. The eagle was about 50 yards, Im guessing. Shot these with my 300 f/4 and a 1.4 x on the 7D

Thanks, Joel. Just a simple cruise up the inside passage with a couple of excursions. The iceberg shots were mostly from the Tracy Arm excursion, and the wildlife shots were from a Chinook Wilderness excursion. Hope all is well
