Image loses vividness as soon as loads

I notice that when I click on an image as soon as it loads for a quick second it looks vivid in colors. Soon there after (~ a half second later), it looses its vividness and looks somewhat bland. Is that a setting on the galley or maybe my browser? I'm an a mac using Chrome. It also happens with Safari.

Thanks,
Tony

I was actually having the opposite problem last week. A pic would load and it would look a little under saturated, then quickly change to a higher saturation/contrast/etc. As if smugmug or some other force was applying color correction after the pic loaded. I've been going through pics today and this has stopped both on my pics and yours. Are you still seeing it?

No. I'm still seeing it on my gallery. Strange.

I'm seeing it load just fine in FF13 and Safari. Here's what I see.

    Hi Andy,

Here's the exact same image file I uploaded to Smugmug...

Do you see a difference between this one and the one you supplied in FF and Safari as I do?

You've applied a Dell monitor color profile to this image. Just us sRGB and all will be well.
