I ,too, would have slammed on my brakes. I like seeing the whole subject, but my primary interest would be in the opportunity for a multitude of abstract shots.....enough such to drive a RUST JUNKIE crazy.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Although in this case, I think the whole view is great. Good shot.

Sorry guys - unfortunately, the schedule didn't allow for an extended session with the truck. :cry

Thanx for the comments. I'll post some more rust in another thread.

    Another F.O.R.D.
Long ago in the last century, FORD was just another opportunity to "Fix Or Repair Daily"

Nice truck. Well worth locking up the brakes.

Excellent find thumb.gif Surely your wife has adjusted to sudden stops for shots like this one. Too bad your didn't have more time to give the work more time for more shots. Perhaps you will get another chance with this one or one like it for some up close carefully considered aspect shots :D

She cringes sometimes when I put the camera in the car, but yes, she is pretty good about the sudden stops. It's a 6 hour drive (9 hours when you factor in the outlets in Kittery - we won't count the stop at the state liquor store on the highway in New Hampshire mwink.gif), but we like the area so maybe next year.

Here's another sudden stop from later that day. It was in front of the town hall in (where else...) Saint George :D

The next time you are in that area, look for the field full of Land Rovers. It is, or was if they are not still there, at the corner of Tolman Rd. and Rt. 90. Here is an example: http://smu.gs/Nnzt7J.
