Youth Escaped

Just had an amazing three days of taking pics. Amazing weather. Wonderful skies. Kids at the beach. Small-town carnival at night.

As such, processing some pics tonight, I realize I had several possible entries for both the #107 challenge and, if I get lucky with #106, the MC as well.

I'd love to hear which ones work for you. But also like to share something of my last few days (off work, time with kids...glorious).

As usual, these are all gorgeous shots! I think the youth shots work for escape as well, especially #1 and #3. I really love the expression in Youth 4.

Of the escape shots, I think #5 says escape the most to me.

Overall, I think my favorites are Youth 4 and Escape 1.

Gorgeous colors-- but I believe the challenges is black and white only. :-(

You're right! I did not see that. The youth one is B&W. Will have to see if that changes things once they're converted. I have a feeling the carnival ones will not work as well B&W.

Oh, my! What a great bunch of shots. I love youth 4. The expression is wonderful & to me it perfectly embodies 'youth'.

Of the 'escape' shots, I loved #1. Then I saw #2 and went "ooooohhhh......I like this one better" and then I saw #3 and went 'uh oh....love them all...can't choose" so I think you have nailed that one, too. I really love #2 just for the beauty of it, but #3 says 'escape' to me a little better. What better 'escape' than a sailboat?

Oh, for the escape approach, Youth #3 works well for me....partly, I think, because it conveys such a sense of flying. Beautiful set, Greg.
Now, here's something to toss out, are you sure you can enter both a mega and regular challenge at the same time?
"This challenge is for all dgrin members that are not listed in the Mega Round 17 list."

No, you cannot enter both. As of now, I am not qualified to enter the Mega. But, if I place in 106, there is a chance, so with so many photo ops this past week, I decided to think about both topics, just in case.

Although the irony is, my youths could be Escape-rs!
