Thumbnails from Blogger post not showing in Google+ Post

After I complete a blog post, I share it to Facebook and Google+. The thumbnail always shows up in FB, but sometimes (like tonight) does not show up.

I have tried using the share from within blogger, as well as pasting the link.

So anyone else experiencing this?

Do you have external linking enabled in the galley settings?

Yes, just double checked.
I get the image in facebook, just not google+. Occasionally I will get the thumbnail in G+, but mostly no.

I tried sharing one of your blog posts on G+ and the issue seems to be that your G+ button doesn't actually include the proper photo, but somehow posts this photo to G+:

I suggest that you double check the code in your blog for the G+ posting as you may find the issue there.

Are you saying that the blog interacts with google+ based on my page coding that is independent of this?

I'm really not a customizing expert and don't know what the issue is. All I can see is that the G+ code doesn't seem to be working properly as it doesn't seem to pick up the correct photo from your blog post. Maybe the G+ code is somehow conflicting with one of your other share options?
I don't know why that is or how you could correct this. Sorry.
