Suggestion. Quick settings to CATEGORY

Ok, I've done a quick search and haven't found a thread addressing this. Sorry if I missed it somewhere.

SmugMug needs to have an option for making gallery changes and be able to apply that to a Category. Meaning a blanket coverage and not having to pick the individual galleries within the Category. If there is one simple change to make to ALL the galleries within the category, and there happens to be 50 galleries then it takes a very long time to select all of those. Even when using the "Apply Quick Settings to multiple galleries" option there is no telling which category the individual galleries are located in, and with there being 100 galleries it's impossible to know where everything resides simply from the gallery name.

This seems like an easy issue to fix and I can't imaging that I'm the only person who has this problem, or at the very least I won't be the only person who would benefit from a tool that lets you apply settings or quick settings to a category. Does anybody else feel that this would be a nice feature? Is this the correct place to post this? I like SmugMug and just want to help make it even better.

There use to be an add-on named SmugBrowser that you could apply settings at any level and they
would flow down. It stopped working in Firefox many versions ago and no one has stepped in to
    update it.

    Lightroom Workaround
I've discovered that, if using Lightroom to upload to SmugMug, even though you can't make category changes you can easily make gallery changes by double clicking any gallery folder, make your change, and then click update. Easier than having to navigate SmugMug galleries or use the dumb drop down menu.
SmugMug still needs to make a change in my opinion.

You are not the only one with this problem. It's been a widely requested feature for probably 5 years. Smugmug just doesn't seem to want to implement it anytime soon. They even went to all the trouble to do the multiple gallery settings updater and left out doing it by category or sub-category (the two most obvious ways one would want to do it). Instead, they make you individually select every gallery in the category. It's nuts. The feature obviously apparently designed by someone who actually knows what power users of Smugmug need to do because this feature would not have been left out.
