Problem with Size of Slideshow Photos

Last week I downloaded some new photos into 3 of my 7 galleries. After doing this I noticed that the photos in these 3 galleries now fill my entire screen when viewing them in the slideshow format. Previous to this, the photos all had a nice black border around them which made the captions easier to view, etc. (Now the captions are on top of the photos due to the photo being so darn big!) I did not change any settings when I downloaded the new photos. This problem is only occurring in the 3 galleries I added new photos to. The other 4 galleries still have the smaller slideshow photos. Any idea what might have happened when I added these new photos? And how can I fix this problem so that my slideshow photos don't take up the whole screen? Thanks!

Can you post a link to one of the galleries where you see that so we could take a closer look?
What browser version do you use? Does it happen in another browser as well?

I was just told by one of the SM helpers that this is a situation that cannot be changed. Apparently once your browser (resolution?) becomes familiar with your gallery it will make ALL your photos appear full screen in the Slideshow. Sorry I am not explaining that very well - photography is my thing - not computers! I'm very disappointed. My photos looked so much better in Slideshow with the black "border" around them. Plus there are a few that have captions and now the captions sit on top of the photo. Not happy about that. I really think SmugMug could do something about this and create a gallery setting if someone does not want their photos to appear full screen. :cry
Of course, I would give anything to find out why 4 of my 7 galleries still show my photos with a black "border' around them ... and the other 3 galleries show my photos full screen. All photos were downloaded from the same camera and computer. The size of the original photos - either landscape or portrait - are the same throughout the galleries. (Other than a handful that were cropped.) It's a mystery to me! For future photo additions ... I wish I could figure out what to do to the photos BEFORE I downloaded them to my SM site to avoid this "full screen" issue.
