How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Gale and Dennis, thanks so much for your very nice comments! Very appreciated!

I am sad to report that the little white cygnet was injured, probably by a snapping turtle, and is very ill. This creature has captured the hearts of many of us who frequent this river, and we are trying to figure out if we can help (which would mean trying to capture it and the stress it would entail for it), or if it would be more humane to let nature take its course. I would really appreciate hearing anyone's thoughts and experiences on this kind of thing. I'm sure as wildlife photographers, this sort of thing has happened to many of you. Many thanks!

    Best wishes, Pear
