I just finished a deployment and this was my first shoot getting back into the swing of things! Please let me know what you think. He was very sleepy when we got there and then was pretty much awake the rest of the time. Def. a challenge at times!

Thanks Qarik! Ya this is only my second newborn session and I think it came out well. I could see what you are saying about 4. I was just trying new stuff.

Love the last shot , the first two are a bit to dark for my taste. New live needs to be light and full of energy, it needs to sparkle
. That is difficult with black.
The other pictures with the baby decoration are for my taste not needed, as the gadgets pull away the attention of the beautiful baby.
Take for instance picture 4, a great shot with good light but totally spoiled with the silly head. I see this kind of picture at regular times. I guess it must be fashion
A photographer without a style, is like a pub without beer

I can see parents and grandparents going absolutely wild about number three.

IMHO newborn photography is about the hardest there is to produce great quality images, so the addition of props to bring in the "cuteness factor" is a good idea and I think this image does it quite nicely.

Thank you! Ya this was my first shoot in over 6 months, so it was awesome that it turned out well! The clients have seen them yet, but I am hoping they will like them
