Mississippi River Bridges at Vicksburg, MS. I am undecided on which of these I prefer. I'm leaning to #1 & 3. What do you think? The old bridge on the right is closed to vehicle traffic and only open to train traffic. The first two are 60 second exposures. The third is about 3.2 seconds and earlier in the evening but I did catch a train coming across the old bridge.

Nice series, you should check out my book "Rafting the Mississippi- A Journey of Discovery" There are a couple shots of Vicksburg on my site and in the book. A wonderful place to spend a summer evening.

being born and raised there, i understand. I never took for granted the majesty of the river.

here is a pic showing how low the river is right now.
