Grandson Charlie at the beach the fourth of July.
This was a Raw file with Mon and Dad behind him, so I cropped, cloned and cleaned a little bit.
Yes, I see noise, and not the best picture, kind of soft, but still like it, what do you think?
Can I make a couple of 8 X 11's.?

CC as usual.
Carlos

I personally couldn't live with the poor resolution from that crop, but if you're happy with it as a family snapshot, then put it in the album and enjoy :)

I agree, this picture is having some serious quality problems. If it looks like this on the screen then I am afraid that it is not suitable for printing.

You are both right, that is why I asked for advise, because I didn't want to bring something into a frame that is not worth.
I like it because he is one of my grandsons, but quality does not help at all and now is clear not to continue.
I have to detach myself from feelings and get back to reality.

Thanks a lot Diva and D3S you both know I appreciate your comments.

Yaflyyadie, I just commented on the technical side of the picture. However even a low quality picture can have a big emotional value for the owner. I can understand that as a grand parent, you cherish your grand children . So, if the picture has great emotional value to you, by all means get it framed .

    D3S:
As a matter of fact I was such uncertain on what to do when I posted it. I knew very much about the poor quality as a picture, as Diva said its a simple snapshot and with this she is not hurting me at all, but made me open my eyes (I have done a lot better ones) but the real value was he lost his first tooth that day and I had the oportunity to keep it in record.
What you both have done, is reafirm my thoughts about quality which I could see but my brain could not compute fairly for the above mentioned.
I'll keep it in the files, I will still have it, but just that.
You have done the right thing and woke me up, I don't regret, I appreciate.
    Thanks,
    Carlos

Very cute young man! I certainly can see why you like it.

But, in all honesty, I would call it a snapshot and not a portrait.

    !00% agreed Bryce.
I understand all the comments and as I wrote to D3S I have to detach myself from feelings.
