just searching around on B&H and came across this little beauty.

and i was pretty much Dumbfounded. me=:huh :jawdrop


so yeah. just though i'd share it with you guys. and also ask if any of you guys own one of these and if so. i'd LOVE to see some pictures with it.

    Light amplification devices are monochrome of course, not in color. And not cheap either. But interesting - mostly used by the military and law enforcement. Hmmm....

    It won't do anyth9ng to the focal length. At first glance, it looks like it would act like an extension tube, but what it really does is replace the sensor plane with a new more sensitive sensor just behind the lens, and then process the light and direct it on to the sensor plane of the camera.

    I spotted that night optics thingy in my new B&H catalog that came the other day, but the photo was so tiny. So that's the way they do that. Those tricky engineers! I wonder if I put that gizmo on my Chistmas list for Santa...
