How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    I hate you!
Post some more so I can hate you even more rolleyes1.gif

You'll see in a couple of years I'll have a 20 megapixel super duper inexpensive (affordable) super speedy dSLR with a 35-600 zoom lens that's only 4 inches long and weighs practically nothing and has super image stabilization!

    Then you watch out!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Great shots, do take some more, some birds go in beak first, some seem to go in head first, some do a 180 degree spin in the water... Hubby and I laugh our heads off watching them.

White pelis are usually a lot more graceful.

    Good shots! clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif

    Pelis in breeding mode?
I noticed the red bill/beak. Looks like a good spot you have there for the birds, too bad you guys are 8 hours away (I simply can't take IS5 down, have to go the slow way down highway 1) I think they are still in Santa Cruz, but they are getting scare up here. May be a few in Half Moon Bay. I'll check to see if they are getting the breeding plumage. Maybe the ones left are too young?

To google to search on pelicans...

I'm enjoying yours and Jeff's shots a lot!

I like number 3 the best. To bad that the tips of the wings in #2 were not in the picture otherwise this one would have been my favorite.

In all very nice job, and thanks for sharing.
