As much as I love IR, it doesn't all have to be landscapes and flowers.

i like it-wanting to do some IR flash work myself-is the IR head made by Sunpak?

Yes the Sunpak 622 has several detachable heads, one of which is an IR head. It's a real IR beacon, but what one learns is that IR falls off very quickly.

I have a question for you how come you don't appear to have any motion blurr ???? is this because of the flash unit your using ????
Your image looks great, I bet your really pleased with it.

Hi Skippy,
If you view the EXIF the shot was at 1/400th of a second at F3.5, also the Sunpak is a very fast flash going from 1/500th of a second to 1/30000th of a sec.
I tend to use it in a manual mode and force a very fast flash and in a dark environment like the club I was shooting in, a fast flash will stop motion even on slower shutter speeds
BTW, here's the spec sheet on the 622.
