went out again today and this is one of them..dont look bad but not not as sharp as other pics i see on here.....any tips would be great as always

This is not too bad at all. The only issue I see here is that you slightly missed focus on the eye but apart from that, it's a nice composition, nicely isolated from the background and there are no blown highlights on the subject.

Good shot - agree with Ian - slightly missed focus on the eye.
It's also harder to get fine detail showing in soft natural light but you do get lovely colours.

Very nice , look ok for sharpness overall for a natural light shot.
A lot of images here are flash so will always be sharper than a NL image
