Sigma lens 28 -70 2.8 faulty contact

Sent my lens twice to Sigma New York and am still having problem.
Now the problem is that the lens doesnt focus and I get a "error 01 faulty contact, clean contact of lens". I did clean it but it doesn t work still.
I tried a new lens and it works so yes my lens is acting up???
They claimed that they upgraded the software in the lens???
its a film lens from 8-9 years ago and they changed the mounting bracket.
Funny thing is that whenever they send me back the lens it works pefectly, but after 2 months I have either the same problem or another one.:scratch:scratch:scratch:scratch:scratch:scratch

Anyone has the same problem.
