Two flies

Having enjoyed the images here so much over the past nine months since Ian introduced me to the site, it struck me that it might be seemly to make a little contribution.

A dung fly? I think these are rather good looking.

And a, to my eye, more ordinary looking fly, but rather smaller - about 2.5 mm long (head and body) by my calculations.
