QR Code & Coupon Code

Is it possible to do this...

Part I: I want to generate a QR code that, when scanned, will take the user to my website AND automatically apply a coupon code to any order they may place while on my site. Obviously I can send them to my site from the QR Code but is there any way to apply the coupon code for them?

Part II: Ideally I'd want the coupon code to be usable only when people came to my site via the QR Code. I doubt there is anyway to do this, but thought I'd throw it out there in case it is possible.

Cheers.

I am very sorry but there is not a way to automatically apply a coupon code to an order using a QR code. The coupon will have to be entered in the shopping cart manually. Please accept our humble apology for any problems that this causes you.

I don't know a lot about QR codes (yet) but was looking at the Moo card site, as they can create and add a QR code to your business cards. The options include having the QR code open a web page, or open your contact information. On the contact information page, there are a couple of fields that could be used (I think) to insert a coupon code. If that code was only given out via the QR code then you could track those sales as coming from the code. Just thinking out loud a bit....hope it helps.
