    Well almost a great picture, however two major elements prevent is:

    1. The closed eyes, they are the window to the sole or is it soul. A fraction later or earlier and it would have been great.

    2. The sharpening is bit over the top to make it a pleasant picture to look at.


    The B&W conversion is well done and so is the DOF thumb.gif

    Thank you for the critique. The eyes closed is one of the things that interests me about the photo, he was laughing so hard that he couldn't keep them open.

    I will work on the sharpening though!

    Chris, I don't mind the closed eyes here, but I admit that seeing his eyes would have made this shot more interesting to me.

    I do like the crop. It gives you a nice context into his surroundings.

    I also feel it is a bit oversharpened. Sump.
