San Diego County Fair - 10 pics

San Diego County Fair takes place at the historic Del Mar Racetrack - half of Hollywood used to hang out there in the mid 20th century. It's been updated and remodeled and is a really nice place to hold a fair - I can certainly recommend the BBQ'ed turkey legs and the cinnamon rolls - bummer is I have to wait 'til next year to get 'em again!

The theme this year was "Out Of This World" - that made it a lot of fun!

    Thanks you guys for the look and the comments - I appreciate the feedback.

    Although the Turkey Stampede was pretty darn exciting, my favorite is still the Swifty Swine Pig Races - those little piglets are just too cute - check them out on YouTube.
    I wondered what made the birds chase the little red truck - turns out that turkeys are pretty much motivated, like the rest of us, by a good meal!
