Went to Shamrock Park in Venice, FL to take Scrub Jay photos and ended up with something much better! The birds started freaking out all around us and this bobcat came wandering down the path! He stopped when he saw us and went in the bushes to get around us. The birds continued to freak out :D

A couple minutes later, he came out of the bushes and crossed over the path behind us and disappeared into the bushes (more birds freaking out!) - then suddenly climbed up out of the brush onto this hill/dead tree, where he started stretching, yawning, etc.

This was actually a yawn, but it looks like he is telling us to get lost :D

He saw a woodpecker on a branch and went towards it, but not very stealthily - then headed back into the brush once the bird flew away.

We were about 25 feet away from him and shooting with a 70-200, plus these have been cropped somewhat.
