Whats up with this?

Was at Barns and Noble book store today poking around looking at the photo magazines. Darn near all of them are printed in the UK.

I don't have anything against the Brits, but good grief, we can't even publish our own magazines anymore? None of product adds have any meaning for me here in the US. Some of the equipment used in the articles may not be available here.

    Well, many might be, but Shutterbug is published in NY, and Outdoor Photographer is in Los Angeles.

    Same here at Chapters / Indigo. 80%+ of the mags are from the UK (good articles though), probably 15% from the US (e.g. Shutterbug etc.) and I think I found ONE Canadian one (Outdoor Photography Canada). But regardless of the country of origin, the info. is usually pretty good. I know what you mean about the ads, though, Sam.
