Removing Meta-data from Gallery? Or?

A few years ago I posted a gallery which included the photos of a number of former classmates. Last year I rec'd an e-mail from one person who requested I remove his photo, which I did. I heard from him again recently, and he's quite annoyed that my gallery still comes up when he Googles his name, and asked me to remove the photo again (which I had already done after his first request).

I've now hidden the gallery but it still comes up in a Google search of the fellow's name, and the gallery that comes up is the original gallery - not hidden. In Firefox the gallery shows as unlisted (to me because I'm logged in), in Chrome, where I'm not logged in, it appears as a not-hidden gallery.

Short of deleting the gallery, going back into LR and removing key-words and re-posting the photos, is there a way to fix this so this gallery doesn't show up every time you Google this guy's name?

Thanks.

    Hi Sara,

You'd need to request a removal with Google manually: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=164734

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Have a great weekend :)

Thank you, vakvarju. However, from that page, I read this: "When a page is updated or removed, it will automatically fall out of our search results. You don’t need to do anything to make this happen."

The above does not appear to have happened.

The link you sent seems to refer to removing confidential information.

If Google doesn't seem to be removing content, please give the manual removal request a try. That's the only alternative you have to moving all photos to another gallery and deleting the original gallery.
Only if the removal request fails as well, the last resort would be to move the photos and delete the gallery.
